McCoy Graduate Bootcamp

Location:
McCoy Hall (MCOY)
Cost:
Free
Contact:
Matt Painter, 512-245-3591
Campus Sponsor:
McCoy College of Business Graduate Programs

A graduate business education represents a substantial investment of your time, money and energy. It represents a commitment to your future. In the same way, the faculty and staff of the McCoy College of Business are committed to providing you an exceptional educational experience, both inside the classroom and through co-curricular programs and activities.

To help ensure you get off to a fantastic start in graduate school, all incoming McCoy MBA, MAcy, MSAIT and MSHRM students are required to attend the McCoy Graduate Bootcamp event.

Bootcamp is typically held the Saturday before classes begin in both the fall and spring semesters. This is a mandatory event so if you plan on applying, have applied, or have been accepted it is absolutely critical that you block out the Saturday prior to your first week of class. No exceptions, no excuses.

Don't worry--there aren't any pushups or group runs. Instead, expect a great day where you'll meet your fellow McCoy graduate students, learn about effective presentation skills, and participate in team-building activities. You'll also hear from a panel of McCoy graduates and have a chance to ask them questions about the program and their career path. Lunch and a light breakfast are provided, and we'll wrap up the day with an off-site social sponsored by the McCoy Graduate Student Association.
